DevOps Engineer

About the role

A large logistics and supply chain business is looking for an experienced engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will drive the reliability and scalability of transportation and warehousing platforms by designing and automating cloud infrastructure. You will partner with software, data, and operations teams to champion modern infrastructure practices and high-availability architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for logistics platforms
• Build, improve, and support CI/CD pipelines for frequent and reliable software delivery
• Implement and optimize observability, including monitoring, logging, and alerting for critical systems
• Champion Infrastructure as Code and configuration management across production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, performance, and incident response

Requirements

• Extensive experience with AWS or Azure cloud services and containerization using Kubernetes and Docker
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Strong background in building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog
• Solid understanding of Linux administration, shell scripting, and configuration management tools like Ansible
