DevOps Engineer

What You'll Do

• Configuring and maintaining the infrastructure
• Support with any tasks related to OLVM migration
• Ensuring compatibility and integration with the VMWare re-platforming process
• Leveraging Kubernetes for container management
• Automating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy
• Performing Unix/Linux system administration to ensure stability and scalability
• Support cloud engineering and CI/CD pipeline automation
• Modify existing pipelines to align with the VMWare re-platforming and OLVM migration requirements
• Developing new pipelines to address specific needs of the project
• Using Jenkins, Python, Groovy, and shell scripting to support automation tasks
• Building, deploying, and maintaining pipelines
• Monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and ensuring the scalability of the infrastructure
• Utilizing system availability (uptime percentage), CI/CD pipeline efficiency (deployment speed and success rate), and incident resolution times (mean time to recovery) for success metrics
• Ensuring adherence to standard security practices, including secure coding, access control, and data protection measures
• Collaboration with other engineers and project managers

Qualifications

• In-depth experience working with Kubernetes and Rancher to manage containers and orchestrate deployments in cloud and virtualized environments
• Programming experience with Jenkins, Python, Go Lang
• Scripting experience with BASH to support UNIX/LINUX server operations
