DevOps Engineer
About the role
Work in an agile environment, attend stand-ups, update work progress, and communicate regularly with stakeholders. Develop automated configuration management processes and pipelines for deployments. Deliver production-ready infrastructure, work on complex problems, and provide innovative solutions. Employ version control systems like Git, build automation tools, and deployment automation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Design and implement automation software for infrastructure as code and administer cloud providers. Debug and analyze application monitoring and log monitoring. Evaluate and identify issues at a code level. Work with cross-functional teams and create dashboards and reports for management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree)
- One (1) year of experience as a Consultant, Software Engineer, or related role
- One (1) year of experience must include utilizing: Terraform, Datadog, Python, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub (for GitOps)
