DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide optimization and automation across multiple platforms and applications.
• Drive consistency for deployment and build processes.
• Utilize modern tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Linux, and much more.
• Coding in scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, Python.
• Utilizing containerization tools such as: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Agile software development.
• Understanding customers' needs and translating those needs from product specifications into functional, production ready code and infrastructure.

Requirements

CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret / SCI and Full Scope/Lifestyle Polygraph is required upon application for initial consideration.

This position is not open for any clearance upgrades, reactivation, or sponsorship.

EDUCATION: MA/MS and five (5) years experience, or; BA/BS in Computer Engineering or related field and seven (7) years of experience.

CERTIFICATION(S): CWIP IAT Level I required

Qualifications

• Expert experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS.
• AWS (S3, VPCs & Networking, EC2, ECS/EKS).
• Containerization (Docker, k8s, Registries).
• IaC (Terraform/Cloud Formation).
• CI/CD (Jenkins/ GitHub Actions).

Schedule

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS: This position operates 100% onsite unless otherwise discussed and approved by the Program Manager and customer; work is conducted on a standard eight (8) hour schedule Monday - Friday.

Pay

Job Type: Full-time (onsite)
Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
