DevOps Engineer
About the role
We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer who is motivated by mission impact and ready to support some of the most critical systems in the space domain. In this role, you’ll work at the heart of ground system architectures that enables space operations, data flow, and real-time decision-making when precision and reliability are non-negotiable.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead in modernizing and improving existing architectures, designing automation, deployment pipelines, and resilient infrastructure that strengthen the performance and mission systems.
- Your work will directly influence how ground systems evolve to meet emerging challenges across the space domain.
- Build solutions that make a measurable difference in space mission success.
Requirements
- Experience in the development of tools and processes.
- Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions, including Kubernetes or Docker.
- Experience developing and maintaining CSP tools such as AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle.
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) tools.
- Experience developing, managing, and securing containers.
- Experience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- HS diploma or GED.
Skills
- Experience operating within an Agile environment.
- Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments.
- Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.
- Master’s degree.

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
