Devops Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an individual contributor DevOps Engineer who can operate relatively independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and DevOps practices, with hands-on experience in cloud and non-cloud infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage DevOps automation tools on cloud and non-cloud infrastructure.
• Tailor DevOps tools to fit project and application contexts.
• Set up continuous integration for automated and continuous builds.
• Create build scripts, manage versioning, package, and deploy applications on servers.
• Establish continuous testing pipelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of AWS / CDK coding experience. You MUST be able to speak to your projects during the interview.
• 3+ years of Terraform coding experience. You MUST be able to speak to these projects during the interview.
• 3+ years of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, with the ability to discuss key projects and concepts (e.g., when to use CDK vs. Terraform).
• 3+ years of software development experience. You will be asked to code live during the interview and share your proficiency per language.
• Proficiency in coding with Java, Shell, and Python.
• Solid understanding of software engineering processes, DevOps best practices, and SDLC methodologies.
• Background check required before onboarding.
