About the Role

The DevOps / Cloud Engineer is responsible for building and operating the cloud infrastructure that powers US Cold’s B2B platforms, including APIs, portals, and integration services. This role focuses on reliability, scalability, security, automation, and observability to ensure high availability and performance across customer-facing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure for B2B platforms.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable delivery of APIs and integrations.
  • Manage API gateways, load balancing, and traffic routing.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and uptime SLAs.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure-as-code.
  • Partner with security teams to implement access controls, secrets management, and compliance requirements.
  • Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize cloud costs and performance.

Technical Environment

  • IBMi, Azure, and OCI multi-region infrastructure
  • GitHub Actions and Jenkins for CI/CD
  • Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code
  • NodeJS, Python, NextJS, and React
  • IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
  • DB2, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Snowflake
  • AS2, SFTP, and API integration with external systems
  • Observability using Azure Monitor

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform operations.
  • Strong experience with Azure cloud platforms.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using modern tooling (Jenkins, Github Actions or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and access control concepts.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor preferred).
  • Strong scripting or automation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting API platforms and integration services.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform or similar).
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2 or ISO.
  • Experience supporting high-availability, customer-facing platforms.
  • Background in enterprise or regulated environments.
