Développeur(euse) Commando Front Office – C# ou Python H/F – New York

Your RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing applications for structured products.
• Ensure that all data and data flows between other trading and settlement applications are maintained.
• Work with exotic product traders to understand their needs and implement the necessary requirements within the systems.
• Work closely with the Quant team to improve pricing models for local currencies.
• Be responsible for desk support, project design, and implementation.
• Ensure that the methodology’s agile and continuous delivery approach is followed.
• Make sure the code is thoroughly tested.
• Ensure that delivery and change management processes are followed.
• Collaborate with other teams (networks, systems, quality, support, architects, and other development teams).
• Improve existing processes to reduce the time spent on support.
• Maintain pricing tools, optimize their use, and ensure monitoring.
• Provide clear and consistent reports to clients and management.
• Ensure that business needs are met.
• Follow IT best practices to improve development quality.

Your PROFILE

• Master’s degree (from a business school, engineering school, or university).

Your SKILLS

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a developer in a financial environment.
• Solid knowledge and experience in C# or Python development.
• Solid knowledge and experience in VBA development.
• Experience in financial products / business processes in the financial industry / trading systems.
• Extensive knowledge of risk analysis and pricing.
• Analytical and algorithmic skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, tailored to different audiences (technical, functional, etc.). Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of clients and support teams (traders, middle office, developers, etc.).
• You have strong communication and facilitation skills, as well as the ability to give presentations and report on findings, and you demonstrate persuasiveness in defending your beliefs.
• Diligent, dynamic, detail-oriented, a quick learner, and able to work in a high-pressure environment; capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
