Responsibilities
- Assess training needs and develop comprehensive training programs for various roles within the company
- Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises
- Deliver engaging and informative training sessions, both in-person and virtually
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to team members to reinforce learning and application of skills
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and up-to-date
- Collaborate with management to align training initiatives with organizational goals and performance metrics
Requirements
- Proven experience in training and development, preferably in the HVAC, plumbing, or electrical industries
- A strong understanding of technical systems and processes related to HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in designing training materials and curricula
- The ability to assess training effectiveness and adapt programs accordingly
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in training and development is a plus
