Development Trainer

Responsibilities

  • Assess training needs and develop comprehensive training programs for various roles within the company
  • Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises
  • Deliver engaging and informative training sessions, both in-person and virtually
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to team members to reinforce learning and application of skills
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and up-to-date
  • Collaborate with management to align training initiatives with organizational goals and performance metrics

Requirements

  • Proven experience in training and development, preferably in the HVAC, plumbing, or electrical industries
  • A strong understanding of technical systems and processes related to HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in designing training materials and curricula
  • The ability to assess training effectiveness and adapt programs accordingly
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in training and development is a plus
