Development Test Engineer 1

About the role

The Development Test Engineer 1 is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining test plans and procedures to ensure product quality. This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases and scripts to validate software functionality.
• Identify and document defects in software products.
• Work closely with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing or related field.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
• Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
