Development Services Manager

About the role

The Development Services Manager oversees fundraising initiatives, manages donor relations, and develops strategic partnerships to support the organization’s growth and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all fundraising activities including grant writing, event planning, and donor stewardship.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and donors to secure funding and increase community engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align fundraising goals with organizational objectives.
• Manage donor communications and reports to ensure transparency and appreciation.
• Identify new funding opportunities and develop strategies to maximize resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit management, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns and donor acquisition.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nonprofit regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with major gift solicitation and cultivation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
