Development Project Manager (TFO Construction)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Development Project Manager (TFO Construction) to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will guide complex development efforts from preconstruction through completion, ensuring projects stay aligned with budget, schedule, and quality expectations. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external teams to coordinate design, entitlement, permitting, procurement, and construction activities across multiple campus projects. The position also plays a key role in executive reporting and in shaping capital planning for the portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design, preconstruction, and construction activities for projects
• Maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for multiple campus projects
• Create and present monthly project updates for executive reviews
• Collaborate with teams to develop a comprehensive campus design and capital budget
• Oversee entitlement and permitting processes for assigned site projects
• Draft work scopes for procurement and cost estimation of services
• Monitor project budgets and ensure timely completion according to schedules

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience
• Experience with Lump Sum, Construction Management @ Risk, and Design Build delivery methods
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel for budget management
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Compensation

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
