About the role
This position focuses on developing and managing financial models to support a leading affordable housing syndicator. The role plays a key part in the decision-making process by providing accurate and insightful data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Participate in financial underwriting and develop complex models for acquisitions, developments, refinancing, and portfolio analysis.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, including cash flows, financing structures, tax credits, investor returns, and affordability programs.
- Support transaction execution, due diligence, investment committee presentations, and strategic decision-making.
- Monitor portfolio performance, create forecasts and reporting tools, and identify opportunities for value creation.
- Manage and mentor analysts, establish modelling standards, and drive continuous improvement in underwriting and reporting processes.
Requirements
- Strong experience with financial modelling and data analysis.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel and financial modelling software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in affordable housing; knowledge of LIHTC required.
Pay
Salary ranging from $90,000 to $130,000 annually.
