About the role
System administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, test, integration, and configuration of VLP/LF/MF/HF/VHF/UHF/Wireless SIGINT survey, collection, and geo-location systems and software. This includes prototypes, development, operational testing, test, and lab systems and products.
Responsibilities
- Perform network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks (LAN/CAN/WAN administration).
- Work with both Arista and Cisco network devices.
- Configure and optimize networks to connect various front-end and back-end components.
- Design solutions, integrate, configure, deploy, test, and provide ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices.
- Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and troubleshooting.
- Scripting proficiency in Python and Bash.
- Build and maintain pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Ansible or Terraform.
- Provide 24/7 call-in support for operational system critical discrepancies.
- Travel for information system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- Twelve (12) years of experience with software and system deployments, Linux system administration, containerization, cloud deployments, and DevSecOps.
- Recent (within the last three years) experience with Kubernetes, cluster orchestration, and containerization.
- Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant certification (e.g., Security+) and CCNA certification.
- Polygraph date within the last seven (7) years.
Substitutions allowed: Four years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, or two years of experience with a Master’s in Engineering or Computer Science.
