About the role

United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) seeks a Development Operations and Engagement Specialist to support a growing national fundraising program. This hands-on role is ideal for a detail-oriented development professional with strong writing, marketing, and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

The specialist will support annual giving, digital fundraising, donor engagement, prospect research, development communications, and reporting. The specialist will help turn fundraising priorities into organized, well-executed campaigns and donor communications while coordinating activity across development, marketing, finance, and Salesforce functions.

  • Coordinate annual giving, direct mail, email, digital, peer-to-peer, recurring-giving, and planned-giving awareness campaigns.
  • Develop campaign workplans, schedules, audience segments, content, calls to action, and follow-up activities.
  • Draft fundraising appeals, donor newsletters, campaign emails, sponsorship materials, website content, and social media copy.
  • Coordinate fundraising activity across Salesforce, GoFundMe Pro (Classy), email platforms, social media, and the UCP website.
  • Create peer-to-peer fundraising toolkits, participant communications, and training resources.
  • Partner with Marketing & Communications on design, branding, publishing, and social media placement.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare post-campaign reports.

Requirements

The position requires a 4 Year Degree and offers a salary of $66,000, with benefits including 23 days of PTO, 10 holidays, fully paid medical, life insurance, STD & LTD, partially paid dental & vision, and a 401k with generous employer match. Hybrid/Remote work is allowed.
