What You’ll Do
- Own the donor CRM database, ensuring accurate records and data hygiene.
- Generate reports, mailing lists, and queries to support fundraising strategy.
- Track donor interactions and maintain documentation for compliance and stewardship.
- Process all incoming donations (checks, online gifts, donor-advised fund gifts, instrument donations, in-kind contributions).
- Prepare and send acknowledgment letters and tax receipts.
- Cook with accounting staff to ensure accurate financial reconciliation.
- Aid with annual and special fundraising campaigns, including direct mail and digital appeals.
- Coordinate timelines, materials, and vendor relationships.
- Track campaign performance and prepare summary reports.
- Support donor recognition activities, impact updates, and personalized outreach.
- Aid with donor events, including logistics, RSVPs, and onsite support.
- Prepare donor agreements, forms, and stewardship materials.
- Update Foundation website content, including events, donor information, and news.
- Aid with email newsletters and online giving pages.
- Ensure digital content aligns with branding and accessibility standards.
- Provide high-level administrative support to Foundation leadership.
- Draft and edit correspondence, reports, and meeting materials.
- Cook with schedules, meetings, and office operations.
- Support Board of Directors meetings, including preparation of the quarterly Board Book.
- Aid with Accounts Payable as needed.
What You Bring
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience with CRM or donor databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with technology.
- Experience with website content management systems is a plus.
- A collaborative, proactive, mission-driven mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three or more years of administrative or development experience.
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising or donor relations.
- Understanding of Montgomery County, Maryland.
