Development Lead

About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Development Lead to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will own the end-to-end development process after initial screening, turning ambiguity into clear execution plans that move complex projects forward. The position will work across internal teams, utility partners, vendors, and consultants to validate technical feasibility, manage dependencies, and drive projects through closure. Success in this role will require disciplined phase planning, strong judgment around power and utility interconnection, and the ability to translate site constraints into actionable deployment plans.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire project development path post-screening
- Validate power pathways with utility partners and assess cost implications
- Create disciplined action lists for each development phase with clear deadlines
- Translate site constraints into a detailed building-level deployment plan
- Coordinate requirements across internal teams to ensure project closure and execution
- Define and govern diligence processes to ensure timelines and decision criteria are met
- Manage external vendors and consultants to align outputs with project goals
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in land development or related project delivery fields
- Proven track record in advancing large-scale facility programs through various phases
- Strong skills in evaluating power pathways and utility interconnection
- Highly organized, able to convert ambiguity into actionable plans

Pay
$125,000 – $150,000 annually
