About the role
TIRN is seeking a dynamic, committed Development Intern with an interest in conservation issues to assist the Development team in growing support for the organization. We are seeking an energetic, organized, responsible team player who is a strong writer and a self-starter. This internship will impart a solid, working understanding of nonprofit administration and fundraising.
Responsibilities
- Assist in writing and editing fundraising materials
- Support the development of donor relations and stewardship programs
- Research potential donors and develop targeted outreach strategies
- Help manage donor databases and maintain accurate records
- Participate in administrative tasks such as event planning and coordination
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college or university
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Interest in environmental advocacy and wildlife protection
Qualifications
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Basic knowledge of nonprofit administration and fundraising
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
