About the role
CMHA is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Development Intern to join our Development Department and gain hands-on experience supporting affordable housing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist with affordable housing development projects and initiatives
- Conduct market, demographic, and housing research
- Support project planning, reporting, and data analysis
- Participate in meetings with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Help track project schedules, milestones, and development activities
- Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation
- Gain exposure to real estate development, finance, construction, and property management operations
Requirements
- Students or recent graduates pursuing degrees in:
- Real Estate
- Urban Planning
- Finance
- Business Administration
- Public Administration
- Community Development
- Construction Management
- Architecture
- Or a related field
