What You'll Do
- Lead the technical execution of embedded software projects for HVAC devices used in data centers.
- Guide and coordinate internal and external software developers to ensure high-quality output.
- Design and implement software that adheres to advanced security standards, including OCP (Open Compute Project) guidelines.
- Integrate and manage data center-specific communication protocols, with a focus on the Redfish REST API.
- Collaborate closely with other domains (I&V, Sensing, Hardware) to ensure system requirements are met.
- Translate system requirements into coherent software architecture and actionable technical tasks.
- Ensure the seamless integration of features from underlying embedded platforms (RTOS, Matlab/Simulink).
- Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to all relevant stakeholders.
Who You Are
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of technical experience leading software development projects for embedded systems
- Strong background in project management of technical project leadership
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams (Hardware, QA, etc.)
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure and management protocols, like REST APIs
- Understanding of advanced security standards for critical infrastructure, such as OCP (Open Compute Project) guidelines
- Deep technical understanding of embedded systems, including hardware functions (sensing, control)
- Strong knowledge of embedded platforms, such as RTOS and application development environments (Matlab/Simulink)
- Ability to guide technical design and architecture decisions
- Structured and detail-oriented working style
- Team-oriented, proactive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills; structured, proactive and results-oriented; effective at coaching less-experienced engineers.

- The base pay for this position ranges from $105,000 - $120,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 15% of an employee’s annual base salary.
