DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER POSITION TO LEAD HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES AND SUPPORT TECHNOLOGY COMMERCIALIZATION

Requirements

• Work on the lab integration of renewable and storage technologies real-time management of test data.
• Work and support commercial projects and technology transfer.
• Preparing, modelling and managing “Proof of Concept” tests.
• Manage hardware and software updates and maintenance tasks.
• Cook up and coordinate the technical support team.

Compulsory Requirements

• An official university degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control Systems or Industrial Engineering or related disciplines.
• 5 years of experience in circuit design of electric and electronic systems, mounting and test of electronic boards.

Other Merits to Value

• An official MSc degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control Systems or Industrial Engineering or related disciplines.
• Knowledge and experience in design, modelling and control of power electronics converters.
• Knowledge and experience in design of embedded systems as well as their connection to sensors and actuators.
• Knowledge of Texas Instruments microprocessors and DSPs.
• Knowledge of National Instruments control and acquisition platforms (LabVIEW).
• Knowledge of computer networks and related protocols.
• Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Adequacy of the candidate's training and experience to the requested profile.
• Work experience related to the profile of the job position.
• Knowledge of English.
• Motivation for accomplishing high-quality and maintainable software systems for research.
