Development Economist

What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate development economics questions, answers, and explanations used in AI training datasets
• Audit the quality of economic reasoning related to growth, poverty, inequality, trade, and global development
• Provide structured, expert feedback to improve factual accuracy and contextual nuance
• Validate real-world and hypothetical economic scenarios using your academic or field experience
• Complete task-based assignments on your own schedule independently and asynchronously

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience teaching, researching, or working in development economics
• A strong grasp of global economic issues, development theory, and data interpretation
• Able to critically evaluate written economic reasoning and identify gaps or errors
• Comfortable working with structured review and annotation tasks
• Self-motivated and reliable in a remote, async environment

Nice to Have

• A graduate degree in Economics or a closely related field
• Experience in field research, NGO work, or international economic policy
• Familiarity with AI systems, content evaluation, or data annotation workflows
