About the role
The Development Coordinator provides operational support for Action Pathways' communications, fundraising, and outreach initiatives. They coordinate donor and organization-wide communications through various tools and assist in fundraising administration.
Responsibilities
- Keys fundraising revenue data into Fundraising Database, ensuring accuracy.
- Processes gifts, answers questions, and resolves issues with donors.
- Maintains accounts and interfaces with online giving platforms.
- Maintains internal data and generates mailing lists for newsletters and other campaigns.
- Generates and mails acknowledgment letters and annual statements to donors.
- Serves as the internal point person for the monthly giving program, organizing stewardship and responding to donor inquiries.
- Generates and mails acknowledgment letters to donors within 2-5 days of gift receipt.
- Extracts, manages, analyzes, and reports on donor giving patterns.
- Coordinates logistics for annual fundraising gala and donor events.
- Provides day-of support for events, as assigned.
- Represents the Food Bank to community groups and events.
- Engages in educational and advocacy efforts with agency partners, the community, government entities, and grantors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in business, social work, nonprofit management, or another relevant human services field.
- At least 3 years of nonprofit sector experience.
- Experience in data collection and analysis, and ability to make presentations and develop reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and technology as a management reporting tool.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, social work, nonprofit management, or another relevant human services field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of nonprofit sector experience.
- Knowledge: Experience in food distribution programs, hunger issues, and/or social service agencies.
- Skills: Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool, experience working with information technology, meeting facilitation, and community relations.
Benefits
Starting Pay: $45,000 - $55,000
Full-time/Non-exempt employment type.
Background check with the state and Federal law enforcement agencies required.
Pre-employment substance abuse screening test and a negative result for the use of drugs and alcohol.
Must pass a post-offer physical examination.
