Development and Alumni Relations Director

About the role

The Development & Alumni Relations Director supports fundraising, donor engagement, alumni relations, community outreach, and advancement initiatives for the Department of Institutional Advancement.

Responsibilities

• Supports fundraising, donor engagement, alumni relations, community outreach, and advancement initiatives for the Department of Institutional Advancement.
• Plays a key role in strengthening relationships with alumni, donors, community partners, tribal organizations, and supporters of the institution.
• Aids in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, special events, scholarship development, and donor stewardship activities.
• Works collaboratively across campus departments to enhance alumni engagement, increase philanthropic support, and promote the mission, vision, and values of the institution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, business, marketing, public relations, nonprofit management, education, or related field preferred.
• Associate degree with relevant experience may be considered.
• Two (2) years of experience in fundraising, alumni relations, event coordination, marketing, communications, customer relations, or related field preferred.
• Experience working in higher education, nonprofit organizations, tribal organizations, or community engagement environments is desirable.
