Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct soccer training sessions for players of various ages and skill levels
  • Teach fundamental soccer skills, techniques, and strategies
  • Develop and implement practice drills and game plans
  • Provide guidance and feedback to players to help them improve their performance
  • Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive learning environment
  • Ensure the safety of all players during training sessions and games
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding player progress and team updates
  • Attend team meetings, coaching clinics, and workshops to enhance coaching skills

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. The employee needs sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to perform essential functions and to supervise program activities in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor locations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer for extended periods of time and be able to communicate using a computer and phone/smart device. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
