The Role

As a Trainee Field Technician, you will be trained to locate and identify leaks within underground water networks. Working as part of an experienced team, you’ll play a vital role in protecting water resources and supporting network efficiency.

  • Assist with detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leaks
  • Support repair teams by providing accurate leak detection services
  • Aid with survey and project work beyond day-to-day leak detection
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately, including timesheets, survey forms, and leak reports
  • Upload data using a laptop (basic computer skills required)
  • Drive to sites as required (full, clean driving licence essential)

Full training will be provided, including:

  • EUSR Water Hygiene Training
  • Unit 2 Street Works Certification
