About the role

As a Developer Writer at GoToMarket – Customer Success, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation that helps customers effectively use our products. This includes writing clear and concise technical documentation, user guides, and other resources to ensure customer satisfaction and product adoption.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, API reference guides, and other relevant materials.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to understand product features and ensure documentation accurately reflects product capabilities.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy across all documentation, adhering to company style guides and standards.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve documentation processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and product management principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
