About the Role

Farmington West Estates Ltd. Partnership has applied to build the next phase of Farmington West Estates, a housing development off Snowberry Lane that has been under construction for more than a decade. The application, received by the town on July 15, proposes 46 new lots along Governor's Pride and four new roads — Preakness Way, Saratoga Circle, Speedstre Way and Derby's Run — according to the Planning and Zoning Commission agenda.

Responsibilities

• Propose and implement engineering plans for the latest phase
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation to the town planning and zoning commission
• Coordinate with the town's public works department for road and infrastructure development
• Ensure compliance with local zoning laws and environmental regulations
• Manage the public hearing process and address any concerns raised by the community

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in residential development and planning
• Knowledge of local zoning laws and regulations
• Experience with environmental impact assessments
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, or related field
• Professional Development Certificate in Planning or similar certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
