The Role

As the Developer Relations Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building Fractional's brand within the tech community. Your responsibilities include:

• Writing and publishing technical content such as blog posts, project teardowns, and HN write-ups based on the team’s actual work.
• Building Fractional's presence on platforms where top engineers spend time, including Hacker News, technical podcasts, conferences, and niche communities.
• Running high-impact community touchpoints like dinners, workshops, and small events where engineers can interact with Fractional in a non-commercial setting.
• Contributing to open-source projects and external initiatives that reflect the quality of Fractional's engineering work.
• Building partnerships with complementary technical brands to co-sponsor events, co-publish content, and cross-pollinate communities.
• Feeding valuable feedback to engineering leadership about what excites practitioners, what they are skeptical of, and where the field is headed.

• A strong engineering background with a proven track record of shipping software and understanding the importance of system design.
• An exceptional ability to write clearly and specifically, creating content that engineers actually read and share.
