About the role
The role of Developer Experience at Tenex combines building with AI and telling the story of what is built. Key responsibilities include:
- Building with AI in public using Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, and future AI coding tools.
- Creating content about what is built, such as videos, posts, threads, and playbooks.
- Educating the AI-interested audience that is Tenex's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
- Leading AI workshops with Tenex customers, including hackathons, leadership enablement sessions, and function-specific workshops.
- Driving the rhythm of the engine by establishing a cadence of build → content → workshop.
Responsibilities
Key duties include:
- Shipping real software with the latest AI coding tools.
- Producing educational content for Tenex's audience.
- Running AI workshops for Tenex customers.
- Staying on the cutting edge of AI development and sharing insights.
- Establishing a consistent schedule for builds, shoots, and workshops.
Requirements
Qualifications required for this position include:
- 3+ years of software development experience, with real shipping experience using AI coding tools.
- A strong portfolio of teaching content, including videos, posts, playbooks, or threads.
- Deep understanding of AI and ability to apply it in practical scenarios.
- Experience leading technical workshops and training sessions.
- A creator's mindset for identifying moments worth documenting and producing content.
- Operational discipline in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills

Pay
The base salary for this role ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 annually, with opportunities for bonus and equity based on performance.
Schedule
Work is primarily in-person, with the option to occasionally work remotely.
