About the role
Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the annual event roadmap, helping to identify and implement the most effective types of events to engage developer audiences.
- Drive the execution lifecycle, from planning to delivery, for select global events.
- Collaborate with regional marketers by providing guidance and essential resources to ensure consistent local execution.
- Manage specific developer-focused activities and activations for Google and Google Cloud's premier first-party events, ensuring experiences run smoothly and resonate with developer audiences.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators. Compile insights and return on investment (ROI) data for monthly marketing leadership reviews.
- Manage specific event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness, adherence to financial guidelines, and accurate resource allocation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
- Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Qualifications
- Experience working in one or more of the following fields: growth, product, brand, social, or partner marketing or research.
- Experience in consulting and working with behavioural marketing data.
- Experience with marketing and sales operations, financial analytics, or other related analytical experience.
- Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
Skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tactics.
- Understanding of event planning and execution.

Pay
US: $116000 - $167000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
