Roles & Responsibilities

• 10+ years of experience in Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, REST API, microservices, Kafka, Cloud, Kubernetes, MongoDB/CockroachDB, Docker/OpenShift
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Agile way of working and CI/CD concepts
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Skill for writing reusable Java libraries
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java
• Familiarity with concepts of Spring Boot, REST API, microservice architecture
• Knack for writing clean, readable Java code
• Working with relational (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding of the class loading mechanism in Java
• Understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
• Familiarity with concepts of CI/CD, Kafka, MQ, performance improvement, Splunk, SQL

Pay

• $110,000–$122,000 a year
