The Developer Advocate at Identity Digital builds the developer community, advocacy content, and integration ecosystem for DNSid, a DNS-native identity infrastructure for AI agents. This role involves creating educational video content, writing technical blog posts, speaking at conferences, engaging with developers, and contributing to open-source SDKs and reference implementations.
About the role
- Create educational video content: screencasts, walkthroughs, and voiceover explainers.
- Write technical blog posts, integration tutorials, and conceptual explainers.
- Speak at conferences and developer events.
- Engage with developers in communities like GitHub, Discord, and social media.
- Ship developer tooling and run hackathons, workshops, and office hours.
- Contribute code upstream to DNSid SDKs and third-party frameworks.
- Model and promote Identity Digital's core values.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- 5+ years in developer advocacy, developer relations, or software engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Able to write production-quality code in at least two of TypeScript, Python, or Go.
- Direct experience working with AI agent frameworks.
- Demonstrated track record of technical public speaking.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Active, visible presence in at least one developer community.
- Experience with MCP, A2A, or comparable multi-agent systems.
Qualifications
- Technical public speaking (conference talks, workshop facilitation, or webinars).
- Technical writing skills.
- Portfolio of blog posts, tutorials, or documentation.
- Experience with DNS fundamentals and identity and authentication protocols.
- Experience with IETF standards process, DNS operator ecosystems, or the W3C DID and Verifiable Credentials landscape.
Skills
- Video production skills.
- Familiarity with DNS fundamentals.

Pay
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 - $150,000 (flexibility based on experience) plus benefits as described.
Schedule
This role is remote and requires flexibility to work across time zones as part of a global organization.
