Dev AI Software Engineer Graduate (Dev Infra US) - 2027 Start
Our team works to build out the development services that enable engineers to deliver high-quality features and systems to our users. We aim to provide systems enabling software development to be streamlined and productive. The systems we are building include Cloud IDE, Intelligent Unit Test Generation, code and build systems, CI/CD software, Microservice management, and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver internal AI-powered developer tools, including agentic workflows, coding agents, IDE integrations, and command-line experiences, to improve engineering productivity across the software development lifecycle.
- Improve AI system performance through prompt, context, and harness engineering.
- Develop data pipelines, benchmarks, and evaluation frameworks to measure code correctness, task completion, latency, reliability, safety, and developer productivity.
- Explore and apply advances in large language models, code intelligence, program analysis, and autonomous software engineering.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages: Python, Go, Java, C++, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, databases, computer networks, and fundamental system design principles.
- Familiarity with machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, generative AI, or large language models.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
- Passion for developer tools, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and improving software engineering productivity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building AI-powered developer tools, including agentic workflows, coding agents, IDE extensions, or command-line tools.
- Experience with large language models, prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, context/harness engineering, MCP, or agent skills.
- Publications, open-source contributions, technical blogs, hackathon projects, or a strong portfolio related to AI or developer tooling.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $128,000 - $316,800 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that may include additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
