Detwist-Bump Shape Straightener

Responsibilities

• Run multiple machines including a 2 Plane, Detwister, and Straightener to straighten and remove skew from bars
• Use measuring devices like micrometers, calipers and measuring tapes
• Set up machines by changing rolls
• Read and interpret shop orders and other instructions
• Load, unload, and adjust temperature on the furnace
• Maintain logs and records
• Visually inspect finished product and stage it
• Operate heavy machinery like a crane, forklift, IME, and Combi lift
• Follow and implement all prescribed safety rules and regulations

Requirements

• One (1) year of manufacturing experience
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to use a variety of measuring devices

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
