Detection Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detection logic across diverse log sources
• Aid in cyber forensic investigations using various logs
• Optimize telemetry collection and log ingestion pipelines
• Design SOAR playbooks to enhance detection triage and response
• Mentor peers on threat hunting and detection methodology

Qualifications

• 2+ years in detection engineering, incident response, or offensive security
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of attacker TTPs in zero trust environments
• Proficient in macOS internals and threat identification
• Experience with detection-as-code workflows and CI/CD processes
• Basic skills in Python, Golang, or similar languages
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., GCFA, OSCP)
