Job Summary
Teph Seal Auto Appearance is seeking Detail Specialists to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, be able to learn quickly, and possess excellent customer service skills.
About the Role
We operate detail/reconditioning centers in auto dealerships across the U.S. Our team members are essential to our dynamic detail solutions and contribute to our entrepreneurial culture. The Detail Specialist will perform a variety of tasks, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and applying preservation chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the facilities to produce high-quality service
- Ensure customers are satisfied through quality service, products, and courteous employees
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and complaints
- Perform tasks such as washing, waxing, vacuuming, and applying preservation chemicals
- May use different types of dyes, paints, and waxes to protect vehicle surfaces
- Handle cleaning and removing grease from engines or engine compartments
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- A valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to learn quickly
- Team player attitude
- Desire to treat each customer's vehicle with care and respect
- Willingness to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles
- Commitment to punctuality and staying on task
- Detail Specialist 1: Some experience
- Detail Specialist 2: 2+ years experience
- Manual dexterity and bodily coordination
- Safe and OSHA-approved waxing and cleaning techniques
- Clear vision and hearing
- Ability to distinguish small imperfections in work
- Quality inspection skills
- Urgency and attention to customer time
