About the Role

We are looking for Detail Specialists to maintain the facilities of the store and ensure customers receive high-quality service through courteous employees, quick response to inquiries, and quality products. Positions available:

• Detail Specialist 1 - Some experience
• Detail Specialist 2 - 2+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Drive, detail, and clean vehicles
• Wash vehicle exteriors using various cleaning solutions, wax, and buff vehicles
• Vacuum interiors, clean upholstery, and apply preservation chemicals
• Use dyes, paints, and waxes to protect leather or fabric
• Clean and remove grease from engines or engine compartments
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
• Quality inspect your work and that of other team members
• Work with a sense of urgency to value customers' time
• Adhere to uniform and grooming standards

Working Conditions

• Physically demanding position requiring frequent bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and getting into/out of vehicles
• Work outdoors in varying climate conditions
• Move numerous vehicles during the workday
• Use OSHA-approved waxes and cleaners (e.g., window cleaner, tar remover, tire shine)
• Frequent flexing of spine, hands, wrists, and fingers
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 50 lbs
• Constant oral communication and clarity of vision/hearing
• Ability to distinguish small imperfections (e.g., streaks, smudges, missed vacuuming)

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles
• Ability to learn quickly and work as part of a team
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Desire to treat customers’ vehicles with care and respect
• Willingness to work on time and stay on task
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and as needed to meet production goals
• Commitment to punctuality and task focus during shifts
