About the role

Teph Seal Auto Appearance is seeking Detail Specialists to join our team in Albany, Georgia. This position involves maintaining store facilities, ensuring high-quality service, and performing tasks such as washing, waxing, and cleaning vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facilities of the store to produce high quality service.
• Ensure customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality service/products, courteous employees, and quick response to all customer inquiries and/or complaints.
• Drive, detail, and clean vehicles.
• Use manual dexterity and bodily coordination to perform tasks including washing the exterior of vehicles, waxing and buffing, vacuuming interiors, cleaning upholstery and surfaces, using air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces, applying preservation chemicals, and cleaning and removing grease from engines or engine compartments.
• May be required to use different types of dyes, paints, and waxes to protect the leather or fabric of vehicles.

Requirements

• Some experience for Detail Specialist 1.
• 2 plus years experience for Detail Specialist 2.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Willingness to come to work on time and stay on task when on the clock.
• The ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles.
• The availability to work Saturday or Sunday and holidays as deemed necessary to meet production needs.
• Commitment to report to work on time and stay on task during shift.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible and willing to perform additional duties as assigned by management due to operational needs.
• Physical demands include frequent movement (bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and getting into/out of various vehicles), working outdoors and under varying climate conditions, and moving numerous vehicles during the course of the working day.
• Requires use of safe and OSHA-approved waxes and cleaners such as window cleaner, tar remover, tire shine, etc.
• Requires frequent and continual flexing of spine, hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Requires clarity of vision and hearing.
• Requires the ability to distinguish small imperfections in work, such as streaks left on windows, smudges on windows or painted surfaces, areas of missed vacuuming, etc.
• Requires the ability to quality inspect work as well as that of other team members.
• Requires the ability to work with a sense of urgency that demonstrates the value we place on our customers' time.
• Strict adherence to uniform and grooming standards.
