Detailer (flat rate)- 310090 (Fort Pierce, FL)

Positions Available

• Detail Specialist 1 – some experience
• Detail Specialist 2 – 2 + years experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facilities of the store to produce high‑quality service.
• Ensure customers receive the highest level of satisfaction through quality service/products, courteous employees, and quick response to inquiries or complaints.
• Drive, detail, and clean vehicles, including:
  • Washing the exterior with various cleaning solutions.
  • Waxing and buffing using cloths and buffing machines.
  • Vacuuming interiors to remove dirt and debris.
  • Cleaning upholstery and surfaces.
  • Using air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces.
  • Applying preservation chemicals for protection against spots and stains.
  • Applying dyes, paints, and waxes to protect leather or fabric.
  • Cleaning and removing grease from engines or engine compartments.
• Flexibly carry out additional duties as assigned by management to meet operational needs.

Working Conditions

• Physically demanding: frequent bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and getting into/out of vehicles.
• May work outdoors under varying climate conditions.
• Move numerous vehicles throughout the day.
• Use OSHA‑approved waxes and cleaners (e.g., window cleaner, tar remover, tire shine).
• Frequent flexing of spine, hands, wrists, and fingers; occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 lb.
• Constant oral communication; clear vision and hearing required.
• Must be able to spot small imperfections (streaks, smudges, missed vacuuming, etc.) and quality‑inspect own and teammates’ work.
• Work with a sense of urgency to respect customers’ time.
• Strict adherence to uniform and grooming standards.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to learn quickly and read/comprehend instructions.
• Team‑oriented attitude.
• Desire to treat each customer’s vehicle with great care and respect.
• Punctuality and ability to stay on task during shifts.
• Capability to drive both automatic and manual‑shift vehicles.
• Availability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed to meet production needs.
• Commitment to report to work on time and remain focused throughout the shift.
• Drug‑free workplace; successful completion of drug and background screening required.
