Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in detailing, cleaning, or a related field.
- Ability to work standing for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and safety procedures.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in automotive detailing or related training.
- Experience with paint correction and surface restoration techniques.
- Familiarity with eco-friendly and sustainable cleaning products.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform detailing tasks on the exterior and interior of boats/vehicles to enhance its appearance such as washing, waxing, buffing, upholstery, carpeting and fixtures.
- Conduct thorough inspections of boats to identify areas needing attention or repair. Adds and removes decals and makes minor cosmetic repairs (trim, putty, paint, frames, hitches, and steps).
- Use various detailing equipment, cleaning supplies, and specialized products. Maintain all equipment and supplies organized and well stocked.
- Follow all safety and compliance regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Handle all cleaning supplies properly.
- Aid with the upkeep of inventory in the sales yard. Maintains daily upkeep of store ground.
- Offer support to other departments as needed.
- Ensure a high level of satisfaction for all customers/guests when interacting directly.
- Any other duties as assigned.
