Detailer

Position Summary

Detailers at OneWater Marine are responsible for ensuring all boats and watercrafts are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, enhancing the appearance and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform detailing tasks on the exterior and interior of boats/vehicles to enhance their appearance such as washing, waxing, buffing, upholstery, carpeting, and fixtures.
• Conduct thorough inspections of boats to identify areas needing attention or repair.
• Add and remove decals and make minor cosmetic repairs (trim, putty, paint, frames, hitches, and steps).
• Use various detailing equipment, cleaning supplies, and specialized products.
• Maintain all equipment and supplies organized and well stocked.
• Follow all safety and compliance regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Handle all cleaning supplies properly.
• Aid in the upkeep of inventory in the sales yard.
• Assist with the upkeep of store grounds.
• Offer support to other departments as needed.
• Ensure a high level of satisfaction for all customers/guests when interacting directly.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Previous experience in detailing, cleaning, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of marine products and detailing techniques is a plus.
