At El Car Wash, detailing is where craftsmanship meets experience. As a Detailer, you take vehicles beyond clean — you deliver a polished, like-new finish that customers can see and feel. You bring precision, pride, and the technical skill to adapt your approach to any vehicle, any challenge, every time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a premium finish - Transform each vehicle with meticulous detailing that meets EL's highest standards — no shortcuts, no missed spots.
• Master your tools - Safely operate DA polishers, buffers, clay bars, and detailing equipment to enhance vehicle appearance with skill and precision.
• Adapt your technique - When a vehicle throws you a challenge — heavy water spots, swirl marks, tricky surfaces — you adjust your approach and solve it. You don't skip steps.
• Perfect the exterior - Streak-free windows, spotless wheels, dressed tires — the details that make the difference between good and exceptional.
• Deep clean with purpose - Shampoo and scrub upholstery and carpets to deliver a fresh, like-new interior every time.
• Create a great customer moment - Engage with customers at handoff, explain what was done, and ensure they drive away genuinely impressed.
• Protect the standard - Follow safety protocols, maintain a clean organized workspace, and own your work quality from start to finish.

Requirements

• Demonstrated attention to detail — quality is a personal standard, not just a requirement
• Reliable attendance and accountability — you own your work and flag issues proactively
• Ability to balance speed with high-quality output without cutting corners
• Physical stamina for a full active shift — standing, bending, and moving throughout
• Professional, confident customer interaction at vehicle handoff
• Experience adapting technique to challenging vehicle surfaces and conditions
• Hands-on experience with DA polishers, buffers, or clay bar techniques preferred — we'll train the right person
• Background in auto detailing, bodywork, or premium vehicle care is a strong plus
