Desktop Technician

About the role

Our client is seeking a Desktop Technician to join their IT Support team in Cincinnati, OH (Onsite 5 Days/Week). This is a hands-on desktop support role focused on providing technical assistance to end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring a smooth desktop computing experience across the organization. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with users, and supporting a fast-paced IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure, image, and deploy desktops, laptops, and other end-user devices
• Provide support through the IT Help Desk via phone, chat, and in-person interactions
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues
• Manage and resolve support tickets using ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop applications and peripherals
• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT teams when necessary
