Desktop/Systems Support Analyst

Description

Diversified Systems is searching for a Desktop Support Analyst III / Systems Support Analyst to provide third-level technical support for PSDC SCCM, AirWatch, VDI, and Inmate technology environments. This role serves as an escalation point for hardware, software, operating system, and infrastructure-related issues while supporting enterprise endpoint management, virtual desktop infrastructure, and mobile device management platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with IT Support staff and end users to troubleshoot issues, provide technical guidance, support deployments, and maintain critical technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide third-level support for PSDC SCCM, AirWatch, VDI, and Inmate environments.
• Troubleshoot and assist with hardware and software support escalations.
• Work with IT Support staff and end users to resolve technical issues and provide instruction for processes and problem resolution.
• Assist with and support SCCM deployments, application packaging, and other SCCM administration tasks.
• Maintain Operating System Deployment (OSD) task sequences and related packages.
• Support the AirWatch console environment by managing assets and system objects.
• Support the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment through session support and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Support the Department of Corrections Inmate environment through general troubleshooting, image testing, and environment customizations.
• Review and recommend hardware and software purchases and system integration and installation solutions.
• Work with users to determine technology needs and specify IT requirements.
• Assess capabilities of current computer resources for migration to new computing environments by performing interoperability testing on operating systems, networks, and application software.
• Participate in the review, evaluation, and reporting of capabilities and limitations of industry technologies relative to open systems environments.
• Analyze security services and directory services within supported environments.
• Develop and contribute to the development of information technology systems by testing and evaluating beta products and applications associated with institutional and agency applications.

Requirements

• 3 years of relevant IT support experience required.
• Experience supporting Microsoft SCCM/MECM environments required.
• Experience supporting Operating System Deployments (OSD) required.
• Experience packaging and deploying applications required.
• Experience supporting AirWatch or VMware Workspace ONE environments required.
• Experience supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments required.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues required.
• Experience performing operating system, network, and application interoperability testing required.
• Knowledge of security services and directory services required.
• Experience supporting enterprise desktop and endpoint management environments required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required.
• Strong communication and customer support skills required.
• Ability to work effectively with technical staff and end users required.
