Desktop Support Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on support for end-user computing environments. This role is responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting Windows-based devices, managing hardware assets, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with device imaging, large-scale deployments, endpoint management tools, and IT service management processes. Responsibilities Image, configure, and deploy Windows desktop and laptop systems for new hires, refreshes, and technology rollouts.Provide onsite and remote technical support for hardware, software, and operating system issues.Manage and support endpoint devices using SCCM and/or Microsoft Intune.Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, peripheral, and mobile device issues.Create, update, and maintain accurate documentation for incidents, requests, and technical procedures.Utilize ServiceNow to manage tickets, track incidents, fulfill service requests, and ensure compliance with SLAs.Perform hardware installations, upgrades, replacements, and device refresh projects.Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records, including tracking, auditing, and lifecycle management of equipment.Collaborate with other IT teams to support system upgrades, migrations, and deployment initiatives.Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical information effectively to end users. Required Qualifications 2+ years of Desktop Support, IT Support, or End User Support experience.Experience imaging and deploying Windows workstations in an enterprise environment.Hands-on experience with SCCM and/or Microsoft Intune for device management.Experience using ServiceNow or a similar ITSM/ticketing platform.Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and Windows operating systems.Strong documentation and organizational skills.Experience with IT asset management and inventory tracking.Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services.Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, and group policy administration.Experience supporting printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or ITIL are a plus. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
