About the role
This role is part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional computer support services at one of the best educational institutions in the country. The team supports a diverse range of customers and support specialists, resolving software, hardware, and network issues.
Responsibilities
- Resolve software, hardware, and network issues for a variety of customers and support specialists.
- Support both Windows and Mac OS platforms, ensuring seamless operation in different environments.
- Work with audio/visual equipment used in teaching, meeting, and event spaces.
- Provide technical assistance to a diverse range of customers and support specialists.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in desktop support, including hands-on experience supporting laptops, PCs, and peripheral devices.
- Proficiency in supporting both Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Experience with audio/visual equipment used in teaching, meeting, and event spaces.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently, taking initiative when necessary.
- An organized and systematic approach to managing information and documentation.
Qualifications
- Local to the Columbus, OH metro area only.
Skills
- Experience with network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with classroom technology installations or educational environments.
- Leadership capabilities in managing projects and assignments.
