Desktop Service Technician- Tupelo, MS

Location: Onsite in Tupelo, MS

Pay: Up to $33/hour depending on experience

About the Role

• Imaging of laptop and desktop devices
• Perform break-fix repair as needed
• Manage ticket queue, close tickets on a timely basis with proper notes
• Use provided note template for ticket notation
• Re-assign tickets with appropriate notes and reasoning
• Follow established escalation paths
• Adhere to Stockroom Repair service level agreement (SLA); ensure machines are fully operational with a valid base image
• Follow Asset Management protocols; update asset dispositions the day equipment is processed
• Complete data certifications and address any discrepancies
• Order parts and return warranty parts on time
• Coordinate and provide accurate data for disposal items

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience
• Ability to lift 50 pounds without restrictions
• Service Now experience
• Able to repair laptop and desktop units, including batteries, screens, motherboards, etc.
• Ability to work independently
• General PC troubleshooting skills
