Job Responsibilities And Expectations
- Provides technical support to engineering and operation departments.
- Afford assistance in the development and specifications and scopes of work to complete various projects.
- Provide assistance in the development of projects and execution or Document control and maintenance of quality documents in his/her area of responsibility.
- Customer visits and related team involvement.
- Afford assistance on projects as directed.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as Engineering Codes (state or city), engineering specification (owner).
- Understand Procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers both internal and external.
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in its most difficult phases.
- Design, develop, and implement custom engineered solutions meeting customer product specifications and all industry and regulatory requirements.
- Research and obtain standards/codes required by client and Jurisdiction through interaction with necessary personnel (PM, PE, etc.) to accurately and efficiently develop above noted plan.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
- Complete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget and schedule; review drawings for completeness and accuracy.
Education And Experience
- B.S. in Engineering or related field from an accredited university OR 3-5 years of proven design experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, semi-conductor, or laboratory industries.
- 0-3 years of professional experience.
