Designer Level II

Responsibilities

• Prepare offshore installation method sketches, rigging, and seafastening drawings.
• Create concise models using AutoCAD, Inventor, or Civil 3D to aid in the development of concepts.
• Produce accurate drawings and sketches and coordinate design criteria with Engineering teams while adhering to Subsea7 GOM Drafting, ASME, and ISO standards.
• Interface with other disciplines to gather design input, coordinate deliverables, and develop clash-free designs and drawings.
• Assist in the identification of technical problems and contribute possible solutions.
• Interface with the Drafting Team to ensure the Drafting deliverable schedule is being met.

Requirements

• Associate degree or Certification in Drafting and Design and/or 6+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proficient in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage time accordingly.
• Detail-oriented to ensure consistent quality of drawings and documentation.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, concurrent/multitasking, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work within time and budget constraints.
• Basic knowledge of Inventor or Civil 3D is preferred but not required.
